F1 2026 Season Update (Post #2)
Welcome again; we are only 5 days as of march 2 (this Sunday!) for the Formula One 2026 season to start, and people are getting ready their alarms and their popcorn. The practice test races have already started and as usual Oracle Red Bull, Mercedes, and Ferrari have very fast cars. Since last post, we have already seen every car design and each sponsor for each team.
The Car Design of every team in F1
Now that I have seen every car design, I have to say that Cadillac and Mercedes has the best design, while Aston Martin and Audi were my least favorite designs simply because they are so plain and so basic. This years photoshoot was heavily criticized because it literally was in a storage garage with little detail compared to last year’s photoshoot.
This year Formula One has already released many collaborations. They already launched the Formula One Hot Wheels 5 pack; which includes the Oracle Red Bull, Haas, Alpine, Williams, and Mercedes cars. The card company Topps, also announced their collaboration who will be released later this year. But my favorite collaboration is the new F1 Uno cards.

As the 2026 season approaches, is the intense competition show during the pre-season testing in Bahrain. Several things like: completed long race simulations and early data suggests that the midfield battle could be much closer this year between the teams. Very small difference in lap times indicate that qualifying sessions may be extremely tight, where just a few milliseconds could separate multiple cars. This means strategy and consistency will be more important than ever.
Finally, social media engagement around Formula One has grown rapidly in early 2026. Teams are releasing behind the scenes content, car launch videos, and the new interviews are building excitement for the upcoming race. All these recent developments show that the 2026 season is not just about speed on track, but also about growth, new challenges, and global anticipation. This could truly become one of the most competitive and talked about seasons in recent years. This Friday, February 27, the new season of Formula One Drive to Survive will hit Netflix to prepare us for the 2026 season which is only a couple days away.
